Pooja George is the South Asia Assistant Research Manager at ACLED, having joined the organisation as an India researcher. She has previously worked on projects documenting and analysing state violence and human rights violations in India. Pooja holds a Master's degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's (Honours) degree in English Literature from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University.
